How would case for thermometer look like? (part.1)

This is a specific request from my colleagues. I needed to draw small case that they could print it with 3D printer and put an electronic thermometer inside of it.
Thermometer can be used at anywhere you want to measure the temperature. Temperature indications transmits through a wireless connection into your mobile phone.

Cases diameter – is 36 mm (1,42 in) and height – 13 mm (0,51 in) it consists of two halves with the threads, each starts from three points that are more stable and more evenly tightened. I tried to make it’s shape as thin as possible so the threads have been made in sides of PCB.

I also draw various examples of how cases could look and to me they look more prettier and a lot like toys. They are ideal choice for children’s room or to put somewhere in the kitchen, for example on the fridge (adhering with magnets), bath or other indoors or outdoors surroundings.

Of course in these pictures you only see the first glance of me trying to find the right shape that could be the best for thermometer to insert into the small case, so toys like plane and rocket are bloated but this is not a big problem. On the contrary in this way they even look more funnier.

Advantages of such case is that they are easy to use by 3D printer and with cheaper PLA plastic. Using ABS plastic makes its appearance more smoother and it can be seen in pictures.
